Help!
I need to get a game I made on the internet for people to view any suggestions on how? Its a java application and requires a few files etc! Not sure whats the best option that can be done fast! Any suggestions!
Bus Shelters
Yesterday I discovered the bad points of a bus shelter. Yesterday at about five minutes to five it started raining so we could get nice and wet waiting for the bus! The bus which is always on time (5.05) didn’t turn up and I found myself waiting for the next bus which was at 5.18. Due to the rain and me having no coat I stood in the bus shelter. It was one of those metal green cage like ones! There was one other lady already in the bus shelter. After the bus didn’t show up she lit up a cigarette and started to smoke. This is when I discovered the bad points of bus shelters. The bus shelter then became a smoke filled box. So I had the choice of being dry and smokey or wet and able to breathe fresh air! Surely if the smoker whats to smoke that badly they should go stand in the rain if they cannot wait till they get to their destination!! So really it’s not the bus shelters fault it did its job well maybe bus shelters should be included in the smoking ban!
Air Conditioning is evil
Yes air conditioning is evil. I am currently sat in the office at work in two tops a jumper my jacket and a coat in the middle of the day in good weather and I am still cold. Why is it necessary to work at fridge temperatures?!? So stupid I am so cold and I’m sure it is making me ill!!
I had the same problem at college when all our class during summer would come into our computing class and put on jumpers due to the high air conditioning. Our computer teacher said it was to stop people falling asleep but what good is a computing lesson if you have to sit on your hands to keep them warm.
Why do people have the need to misuse air conditioning!! Isn’t Britain cold enough!!
Punctuation Bullies
Did anyone see Room 101 the other night. Not sure who the guy was who was on it but he wanted to put Punctuation Bullies into Room 101. I totally agree!! I’m not saying there is a problem with using correct punctuation or being corrected for bad use of punctuation (yes I no I’m awful) but when those people step over the line of helpful suggestion to just being picky for the sake of it!! Its well annoying!! He made some good points.
Toolchronicles
Well as you may no I now have a rubbishy summer job!! We also have the internet at work. Due to it being work internet loads of stuff is blocked like facebook gmail etc. So I decided to catch up on the blogs. After going through a few I discovered Toolchronicles was the only blog to display correctly on my works PC so thought I would say yay to toolchronicles!!
What do you aim for?
A few chats lately have got me thinking! Its funny how people have such different goals in life and very different views on whats important to achieve and whats not! What shapes these is it how we are brought up? How different are your views on what an achievement in life counts as?!?
Equilibrium
The other night with some fellow house mates I watched a film I haven’t seen in ages!!! Equilibrium!! I really enjoyed watching it again and actually found it very thought provoking!! It lend half way through the film to a discussion with my house mates what would the world actually be like if we developed a drug to remove human emotion??
It raises a lot of question one of which is would people still push themselves to do better or is this all linked to do with human emotion???
Back on the blog
I realised a few days ago one or two people still write on their blogs!! This led me to wonder who still checks whether people update theirs or not!!??!! Thats a good point who does still write on their blog . . . . I’m off to investigate!!!
I also think it’s safe to say if at all possible my English writing skills are actually getting worse :-s !!
